Once again, an unusually full texture throughout... I wanna know what you use for treatment on that guitar!
There's a hint of Pink Floyd (think: "Wish You Were Here") in the overall feel of this one, but I've gotta say that the horn soloing definitely gives it plenty of its' own character! Once again, a great touch!

Wonderful tone on the acoustic.
Vocals are fantastic. I hear hints of Counting Crow's Adam Duritz and The Cure's Robert Smith, coupled with your own unique style.
Fantastic trumpet solo, love how that comes in and stays to the end.
Outstanding track!

Bonafide Alternative goodness, top to bottom. Wonderful acoustic recording, though the vocals sound kinda hollow. I like the layered moans, it's all harmonious and stuff. I bet you hate Cake for being the first to popularize the wonderful recipe of acoustic and horn; you don't get points for originality, but you certainly get credit for throwing down something very enjoyable.

A beatuiful song Early! Some very sympathetic panning that works well for the vox and the horn solo throughout the song.......You've got such an honesty to your voice that sticks to the listener, brings me right to your emotional life within the song :) (Smile)....I feel the longing in this one........Those melodic choices during the fade out are sweet (the la la la's) I would've loved to hear that motive in the song more......it's a really strong hook. Thumbs up Early!

solid acoustic sound. this has a country over a side of penne feel to me... don't ask Laughing My Arse Off the horn does set it off nice. this tune has a very original sound. your voice, the way you can't put your finger on the one style, but it all blends well together.

Paint Palette Your voice is a many coloured coat of arms that champions every song you write. We are listening here together & I can tell you Paul & I are enthralled to the core.
Unique. Thought provoking, addictive & sublime. Your honesty & dedication to your craft is an awakening for all of us that 'get' this pleasure. Like Tom Waits I think you will evolve into a hugely successful artist on everyone's lips, yet remain an underground enigma. Burning CandleRainbow

such a warm and full bodied acoustic sound. Really sounds nice, and the pick struming really shines through and adds to the tune. your voice sounds great...conveys a lot of passion and feeling. love that break at 1:30(ish); it provides a nice transition. The horn is a great addition...reminds me of the live musicians I listened to while in Los Cabos. Awesome track man!

well, I'm a year off the others in hearing this album, but it doesn't stop me from listening this sweet seranede.
from your voice to your lyrics, your terrific acoustic guitar leads this song. the melody is really nice, and the sentiment is longing for me.sweet-meaning very cool.
